Bawumia Finally Meets Wontumi At EOCO
Former Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has today met Ashanti Regional Chairman of the NPP, Bernard Antwi Boasiako popularly known as Chairman Wontumi.

Former Vice President and flagbearer of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) for the 2024 general elections Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has finally met with detained Ashanti Regional Chairman of the NPP, Chairman Wontumi at EOCO cells.
Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia who visited Chairman Wontumi together with former CEO of STC, Nana Akomea, Opare Ansah and a brother of Chairman Wontumi had a 30 minutes interaction with Chairman Wontumi.
On Friday, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia was unable to see Chairman Wontumi after visiting both the offices of EOCO and NIB. It is assured that, the detained Ashanti Regional Chairman will be release on Monday if the bail condition is met.
The Ashanti Regional Chairman has been in detention for almost a week after he was picked up by officials of EOCO.
