State-Level Tennis Player Shot Dead by Father in Gurugram
State-level tennis player Radhika Yadav was shot dead by her father in Gurugram reportedly over her social media activity. The 25-year-old was hit by three bullets at their home. Her father has been arrested and confessed to the crime.

Radhika Yadav, a 25-year-old state-level tennis player, was shot dead by her father at their home in Sushant Lok Phase 2, Gurugram, India, on Thursday, July 10.
According to police, the incident occurred around 10 a.m. when her father, Deepak Yadav, fired five bullets at her—three of which struck her. She was rushed to the hospital but was declared dead on arrival.
Radhika, who also ran a tennis academy, had reportedly been in conflict with her father over her frequent Instagram reel-making. During initial interrogation, Deepak Yadav allegedly confessed to the killing. The police said the complaint was filed by his brother.
Authorities confirmed they visited the residence after receiving a call from the hospital about a woman with gunshot wounds being brought in dead.
Unverified reports suggest that Radhika once ranked 113th in doubles on the International Tennis Federation (ITF) list.
