Napoli Reject Galatasaray’s €75m Bid for Osimhen Despite Release Clause Trigger, Push for Saudi Move

Rewritten Version:

Napoli have reportedly turned down a renewed €75 million bid from Galatasaray for Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen, despite the Turkish club meeting the official release clause in his contract.

The update was shared by Nigerian sports journalist and transfer insider, Onyebuchi Onokala, popularly known as Buchi Laba.

According to Onokala, Napoli are actively working behind the scenes to steer Osimhen towards a more financially rewarding move to Saudi Arabia instead.

“Napoli officially rejects Galatasaray’s €75 million third offer for Victor Osimhen — the exact figure of his release clause,” Onokala reported.

He added that the 26-year-old Nigerian striker has already agreed to join Galatasaray permanently, following a successful loan spell, and has no desire to move to the Middle East.

Onokala described Napoli’s stance as a calculated attempt to block the Turkish deal and pressure Osimhen into accepting a transfer to Saudi Arabia.
