Pakistan's SAFF Championship Challenge: Can We Survive Without Our Key Stars?

Pakistan Set for the SAFF Championship, But How Can We Survive Without Key Stars? The opening game will be the defining moment of how the tournament shapes up for us.

The South Asian Football Federation Championship is set to start on November 5 in Dhaka, Bangladesh. SAFF nations are returning to the field after an extraordinary previous international break. And now, the dream is clear: to claim the throne of SAFF.

India is one of the strongest contenders. They faced top-notch sides during the previous international break, including Peru, Uruguay, and the mighty Brazil. After the arrival of Leo Messi in India, the Brazilian gems landed. Following their previous experiences, expectations are sky-high for them.

Pakistan is also coming with high hopes. They won their first title in a four-nation tournament, and their participation in the ASEAN was an achievement. But the biggest issue they will face is the absence of big-name stars. Most of the diaspora stars will not be available for this international event.

The tournament is outside the international break. But this will be a common problem for other teams as well. Yes, it is, but it will hurt Pakistan more. The reason is clear: no league, no competitive football. So, how will local boys face international-level opposition?

On top of that, we will have our opening game against our arch-rivals, India. With the recent addition of Williams and previous international ventures, things are pretty hyped. It will more often be a one-sided show, but the previous performances of the national side are giving us hope for an interesting face-off.
