Africans in America Pay Premium to Train Their Children in Digital Skills - John Kofi Annan

John Kofi Annan, Founder and CEO of IDEA Digital Hub, has highlighted a growing trend among Africans living in America who are willing to invest significantly in their children's digital education.

Parents in the United States are paying $250 or more for private coaching programs that teach children aged 13 and above essential digital skills.

In contrast, many parents in Ghana and Nigeria are reluctant to allow their children to use smartphones, missing out on the opportunity to equip them with valuable tech skills. Annan emphasized that when children use smartphones productively, they are less likely to waste time on games.

"If you understand the value of tech skills, you would pay millions for your children to learn them," Annan stated. He urges African parents to recognize the importance of digital education in today's world and to invest in their children's future.

For more information about the private coaching program, interested parents can visit IDEA Digital Hub or contact John Kofi Annan via WhatsApp at +233530116151 or +2349085392703.
