The ruling party National Democratic Congress scheduled Saturday, November 14, and Sunday, November 15, 2026 to elect their regional executives including a treasurer who will be the chief financial officer responsible for managing the party’s money, maintaining legal compliance, and ensuring financial transparency.

Mr. Ibrahim Emmanuel who is well known as "IB" in his meeting with the Eastern Regional delegates assured them of financial support empowerment in the region when voted into power as the Regional Treasurer of the Party. 

The Business man has pledged to allocate gh10,000 to every constituency to support grassroots organisation, constituency activities and local party development. 

Mr. IB has also assured a pledge of gh100,000 towards supporting party cadres and former government appointees in recognition of their dedication, sacrifice and contributions to the party. 

To strengthening the party physical infrastructure in the region, Mr. Ibrahim Emmanuel made a pledge of gh200,000 towards the establishment of an Eastern Regional Party Office to provide a permanent centre for administration, coordination, meetings and Regional activities. 

"I humbly seek your mandate to serve as the Eastern Regional Treasurer, guided by a clear vision to promote financial accountability, strengthen constituency structures, improve the welfare of our cadres and support the sustainable development of our great party " IB stated. 

"My commitment is to ensure that our party's financial resources serve a meaningful purpose and contribute to the growth and stability of our structures across the Eastern Region" The Business man added. 

"I also believe that effective financial leadership requires honesty, transparency, prudent management and accountability. As Regional Treasurer, I will work to promote responsible financial practices, proper record-keeping and the fair allocation of resources in support of our collective objectives" he added. 

IB lastly pleaded with the NDC fraternity for togetherness to build a stronger foundation for the party and more united Eastern Region since his vision is to help build party where every constituency is recognised, every cadre is valued and strengthen Regional structures for the future.
