Banda constituency: MP aspirant pledges grassroots mobilization for Dr. Bawumia, calls for party unity

Mr. Abrokwah Anto Samordua, popularly known as A.B.K, a parliamentary aspirant hopeful for the Banda Constituency in the Bono Region, has congratulated Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia on his election as the presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), describing the victory as a clear endorsement from the party’s grassroots.

In a statement issued on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, Mr. Samordua, a native of Banda Dorbor, said the outcome of the party’s internal contest reflects the confidence and trust reposed in Dr. Bawumia’s leadership and vision for Ghana.

According to him, the endorsement by party delegates across the country demonstrates the belief of the rank-and-file in Dr. Bawumia’s competence, commitment, and unifying character.

“This victory speaks clearly. It is the collective voice of the grassroots of our party affirming their confidence in the leadership, dedication, and unifying spirit of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.” He stated.

He stressed the need for unity and cohesion within the NPP as the party prepares towards the 2028 general elections, urging members to put aside differences and rally behind the flagbearer.

He noted that the strength of the party lies in its ability to remain united and focused on a common goal, particularly at a time when national development and continuity are at stake.

The Banda Constituency aspirant further pledged his readiness to mobilize support at all levels within the constituency, including community engagements and polling station activities, to advance the party’s agenda and secure electoral victory.

“I am prepared to work tirelessly in Banda and beyond to propagate the message of development, hope, and continuity that Dr. Bawumia represents. Through unity, hard work, and commitment, we can secure victory for the NPP.” He said.
