The National Best Cocoa Farmer for 2025 in Ghana who hails from the Ahafo Ano South West District, Mr Edward kwame Yeboah has sent a stern warning to the leaders of the country to stop politicising Ghana's Cocoa but rather help empower the farmers to make the work lucrative.
Addressing the media, the Best Cocoa Farmer stated that, cocoa is for farmers and that Politicians should stay away from their affairs.
"Politicians can go for roads and other infrastructural development and leave their cocoa for them".
Mr. Edward kwame Yeboah however urged the farmers to accept the new cocoa price although it is difficult.
He said, since this happened at the World market, there's nothing the government can do but hope the government will do automatic adjustment very soon as promised.
He therefore urged the government to as a matter of urgency pass the automatic adjustment cocoa pricing to become law, in other to help motivate cocoa farming in Ghana.
