The Member of Parliament for Tarkwa Nsuaem Constituency, Honourable Sheikh Issah Salifu Taylor on Saturday 11th October 2025, joined his constituents to do a massive clean-up in Tarkwa township to enhance healthy life's living in the Constituency.
The exercise organized by NDC executives in Tarkwa Nsuaem saw enthusiastic participation from the party members, traders, drivers and others.
Participants swept major streets, desilted gutters, cleared market places, lorry stations and refuse dumps around the township.
Speaking to Evans Kweku Oboafi ( HARDROCK) a reporter, the honourable member emphasized on the need to clean our environment time to time to improve sanitation and promote environmental health for good habitance.
"Sanitation is essential for public health and community development, so we have to adopt proper waste management practices"
" Environmental cleanliness is a shared responsibility that contributes to public health and my office will continue to provide logistics and support for future cleanup programs" Honourable Taylor added.
He donated dustbins to the Tarkwa main lorry station and commended participants for their active involvement and also urged continuous commitment to cleanliness.
