Eastern Regional Youth Organiser Donates 60 Bags of Rice to K'dua Muslims 

The Eastern Regional Youth Organiser, Mr. Richard Etornam Nyarko (Blibo) has presented 300 pieces of rice to Koforidua Zongo Community observing the Ramadan.

The donation was distributed to the Muslims to assist in breaking their fast during the Holy Month. 

The items were presented through the New Juaben South Constituency Chairman, Mr. Selassie Amuzu, Vice Chairman, Abu Amadu to the Muslims as a month of fasting, communal prayer, reflection and community reunion.

Mr. Nyarko said, the gestures was in keeping with the spirit of the season, which emphasises compassion and support for others.

"Sharing what you have with others is a sign of love" 

He noted that Ramadan offered an opportunity for Muslims to strengthen bonds within their communities and extend assistance to the people.

Chairman Selassie Amuzu who received the donation on behalf of the Muslims expressed gratitude to the regional youth organiser for what he described as an overwhelming gesture.

He urged members of the Muslims community, New Juaben South Constituency to remain united and to care for one another in accordance with the Isamic teachings. 

Ramadan is considered aa one of the holiest periods in the Islamic calendar. 

He commended Richard Etornam Nyarko, for the food item donation to support New Juaben South Constituency Muslims breaking their fast during the Holy month of Ramadan 2026. 

He emphasised that, these acts of charity are designed to aid in daily breaking of the fast (Iftar) and the pre-dawn meal (Suhoo)

The members who received the items expressed gratitude for Richard Etornam Nyarko for donating the items to support the Ramadan fasting period. "These gesture are seen as vital in forsetering stronger ties between the aspire regional organiser and the Zongo communities during the Holy month of Ramadan.
