“Me and You Friends? Insult!” — Obasanjo Reacts After Isbae U Calls Him His ‘Gee’
Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has got Nigerians talking after a funny exchange with popular content creator Isbae U.
During their conversation, Isbae U told Obasanjo that they were now friends and asked him to give him a name.
Isbae U: “You and I are now friends. Give me a name and I will give you a name too. That’s how we know friends.”
Obasanjo, clearly surprised, replied:
“Me and you friends?”
Isbae U then told him:
“You are my Gee na.”
But Obasanjo was having none of it.
He jokingly responded:
“Me and you friends? Insult! Allah, Chineke, God, Olorun. So if man no quick die, e go just dey collect insult?”
The exchange has since gone viral, with Nigerians reacting to Obasanjo’s hilarious response.
