Techiman North DCE honors revenue collectors, urges improved performance
The District Chief Executive for the Techiman North District, Hon. Adom Kwabena Johnson, has urged revenue collectors of the District Assembly to improve their performance to boost internally generated funds. The call was made during a roundtable meeting held on March 10, 2026, where management reviewed the collectors’ 2025 performance and discussed strategies to strengthen revenue mobilization. The event also saw outstanding collectors being awarded for their contributions to revenue generation in the district.
The District Chief Executive for the Techiman North District in the Bono East Region, Hon. Adom Kwabena Johnson, has called on revenue collectors of the Assembly to intensify their efforts to help increase the district’s internally generated funds.
The DCE made the call on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, during a roundtable engagement with revenue collectors at the District Assembly. The meeting, which was attended by the Coordinating Director and other senior officials, focused on reviewing the collectors’ performance for the 2025 financial year.
The engagement created a platform for both management and the collectors to assess the challenges confronting revenue mobilization in the district and deliberate on practical strategies to strengthen revenue collection moving forward.
Hon. Johnson indicated that the Assembly remains committed to encouraging hard work and dedication among its revenue staff. As part of the meeting, collectors who demonstrated outstanding performance in the past year were presented with awards in recognition of their efforts.
He encouraged the award recipients and their colleagues to remain committed to their duties and work more efficiently to boost revenue generation, stressing that improved internally generated funds would enable the Assembly to undertake more development projects within the district.
The Head of Revenue at the Techiman North District Assembly, Mr. Kyere Kwame Domfeh, also commended the DCE for introducing measures aimed at strengthening revenue mobilization in the district.
Some of the award-winning collectors expressed appreciation to the District Chief Executive and the Assembly’s management for recognizing their efforts. They assured the Assembly of their commitment to working harder to enhance revenue collection in the district.
