The Ghana Police Service has confirmed the arrest of Kumasi-based radio and television presenter, Oheneba Nana Asiedu, on charges related to the publication of false news.

According to a statement released today, November 23, 2024, the presenter is accused of violating Section 208 of the Criminal Offences Act, 1960 (Act 29), which prohibits the dissemination of false information.
