A woman in Benue State identified her kidnappers at Ihotu Park as they tried to board a bus to Makurdi. Security forces arrested the suspects and recovered ₦11 million in cash.

At Ihotu Park in Benue State, a woman spotted her kidnappers trying to get onto a bus headed for Makurdi. She quickly raised the alarm, catching one suspect right away. The others tried to run but were quickly caught by security forces.

During the search, officers found a Ghana-Must-Go bag filled with ₦11 million cash. The crowd almost took the law into their own hands, but security officials stepped in just in time to stop a mob.

Later, at the police station, another woman came forward. She identified the same suspects as her kidnappers too. The case has now been moved to Makurdi, and the state governor is personally involved. Justice is expected to follow.
