I will Not Resign, Despite The Threats - Justice Torkonoo
Suspended Chief Justice Gertrude Torkonoo has indicated that, she would rather fight the injustice and unfair treatment against her than resign.

Suspended Chief Justice Gertrude Torkonoo has indicated that, she will not resign even as she face the committee set up to probe the allegations of misconduct levelled against her by three different petitioners.
According to Justice Gertrude Torkonoo, who is currently on suspension, she would rather fight the injustices and unfair treatment meted out to her by the Justice Pwamang led committee probing the allegations against her.
Justice Gertrude Torkonoo made this known in her first public address since she was suspended through the media.
She further revealed that, she has received various threats directed at her asking her to resign or face the consequences, but she would not yield to those threats.
Justice Torkonoo indicated that, she has decided to speak to the media because, the violations against her has not stopped and there is the need for her to let Ghanaians know what is going on.
Among other things, she accused the Committee of choosing a venue to intimidate her and denying her some constitutional rights.
