President John Dramani Mahama’s governance which focuses on accountability, institutional reforms, and anti-corruption measures under his administration's "Reset Agenda", by binding legally enforceable Code of Conduct and Ethics for all political appointees, including the President, Vice President, ministers, and staffers, replacing mere moral persuasion with strict standards has pushed Mr. David Dakudzi who is aspiring as the Eastern Regional Chairman for NDC to attribute a pastoral position for him (John Dramani Mahama) after his tenure of office as the President of Ghana. 

The business mogul, Mr. David Dakudzi who is also contesting as the Eastern Regional Chairman for NDC made this revelation to the media after his meeting with a bunch of NDC patriots in the Eastern Region during his Nationwide Campaign tour.

When asked his vision for the party when voted into power, Mr. Dakudzi expressed how ready he is to direct financial outreach, donor relations, and campaign resource allocation for the Eastern Region. 

"Sincerely speaking, among all my contestants, I am the only person who has served the party with Loyalty and Financially from the polling station to the national level by helping identify, recruit, and support candidates running for office and also helping shape the party platforms" he stated. 

"Campaigning, adopting communication strategy, Coordinating messages, implementing public relations strategies, and acting as a primary spokesperson for a political party, managing internal disputes, enforcing party rules, and working to maintain unity among members qualifies me as the best candidate for this position since I have served in numerous positions for the party from the polling station to the regional level" Mr. David Dakudzi added. 

"I am here to end ' To Who You Know ' allowing well-connected individuals to break rules, skip lines, or escape consequences for poor performance or misconduct and jobs, promotions, or special treatment to friends or family members instead of qualified candidates" The Business Mogul ended. 

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) is set to have their regional executive elections on Saturday, November 14 and Sunday, November 15, 2026 to elect their regional executives including the regional chairmen who will focuse primarily on the regional machinery, administration, membership retention, and operational health of the party organization.
