AN OPEN LETTER TO THE SENIOR MEMBERS AND COMRADES OF THE OTI REGION
AN OPEN LETTER TO THE SENIOR MEMBERS AND COMRADES OF THE OTI REGION
AN OPEN LETTER TO THE SENIOR MEMBERS AND COMRADES OF THE OTI REGION
In Support of the Candidature of *Hon. Gabriel K. Lemboe Samora* for Regional Chairman
Dear Senior Members and Comrades,
I write to share an important observation with you and, most importantly, to seek your support in making the right choice as we approach our forthcoming Regional Elections.
As we go through this internal reorganisation, we must never lose sight of its ultimate purpose: to strengthen the NDC and position the party to win the 2028 General and Parliamentary Elections. Our principal opponent remains the NPP.
Over the past weekend, the NPP elected its Regional Executives in the Oti Region, with a clear mandate to make the region a difficult battleground for us.
By Monday, they had already held their first press conference in Dambai, directing their message at the government and our party.
Their intentions are clear. Their energy is visible. Their team must not be underestimated.
*Hon. John Kwadwo Gyapong* currently carries the dual responsibility of government business and party leadership in the region. It is a considerable responsibility.
The Regional Elections therefore present us with an opportunity to elect a Chairman who will not merely occupy an office, but will become a strategic partner in the task of defending and advancing the NDC's electoral fortunes in Oti.
That partner must possess the aura, energy, assertiveness, vigour and elegance required of a modern political leader.
He must be a trans-generational servant-leader; a team builder who understands recruitment, training, organisation and mobilisation; a man experienced in protecting, collating and transmitting election results; a strategist capable of matching and surpassing the methods and energy of our opponents; a proven campaign coordinator; a distinguished administrator; and, above all, a fearless and results-oriented leader.
I am pleased to say that we have such a man.
He helped lay the foundational structures of our party in the newly created Oti Region and has played significant roles in its operational and administrative development.
In recognition of his capacity and performance, the National leadership has entrusted him with special assignments in the Atwima-Mponua, Kumawu, Assin North and Akwatia constituencies.
He has also served as an Assembly Member and therefore understands the local government system from practical experience. In 2011, he actively participated in the NALAG Constitutional Review process with Prof. Kwamena Ahwoi at the Oyinka Hotel in Koforidua.
As a committed unionist, he also served as *GNAT Chairman* for Dambai Local, covering the Oti, Dambai and Kparekpare Circuits.
More importantly, his political journey has been forged in the struggle. He has *organised , mobilised , coordinated , *administered and delivered.
He understands our structures from the grassroots to the regional level and has demonstrated his capacity to lead teams under pressure.
Built in the struggle. Tested in the field.
Proven in delivery. And ready to serve.
Ladies and gentlemen, it is my honour to introduce to you:
HON. GABRIEL K. LEMBOE SAMORA .
As we make this important choice, let us choose not merely a Chairman for today, but a strategic partner for the battle of 2028 and beyond.
I respectfully urge all Senior Members and Comrades to endorse his candidature and give him the opportunity to continue the work he has already begun.
With SAMORA in the Chair, we are covered.
By..
Yours in the struggle,
Cde Ibrahim Bless Salifu
