Ministers to Deliver Mid-Year Updates on National Projects and Programmes

Presidency to Launch Government Accountability Series on July 14

The Presidency Communications Office has announced the official launch of the Government Accountability Series, set to begin on Monday, 14 July 2025, as part of efforts to strengthen transparency and public trust in governance.

This was disclosed in a statement by Presidential Spokesperson and Minister of State for Government Communications, Felix Kwakye-Ofosu, who noted that the initiative would serve as a direct channel between the government and citizens for regular updates on national progress.

“The series is part of efforts to deepen transparency and accountability in governance,” Mr Kwakye-Ofosu emphasised.

Regular Briefings to Track National Progress

The series, to be held three times a week – Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 11 a.m., will see ministers from key government sectors provide Mid-Year performance updates, assessing achievements, challenges, and ongoing interventions.

This move is expected to give Ghanaians clearer insight into how state resources are being used and how government promises are being translated into action across the country.

Interior Minister to Lead First Session

The Minister for the Interior, Muntaka Mohammed-Mubarak, will kick off the first session on Monday, 14 July, outlining developments within the security and public safety sectors.

The Presidency said the briefings will promote active citizenship and allow Ghanaians to hold public officials accountable for their mandates.
