Abronye demands live telecast of NPP disciplinary hearing against Kennedy Agyapong
NPP’s Abronye Vows to Expose Kennedy Agyapong’s ‘Antichrist Actions’ at Committee Sitting
Bono Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwame Baffoe Abronye, has publicly expressed his readiness to appear before the party’s National Disciplinary Committee following an official invitation signed by the General Secretary, Justin Frimpong Kodua.
In a statement dated 30th September 2025, Abronye confirmed he is fully prepared to face the Committee and lay bare what he described as the “antichrist actions and inactions” of Assin Central MP, Hon. Kennedy Agyapong. According to him, such conduct has undermined the cohesion and integrity of the ruling party.
“I hereby write to indicate my full preparedness and willingness to appear before the Committee to comprehensively lay bare and substantiate the antichrist actions and inactions of Hon. Kennedy Agyapong, which has undermined the cohesion and integrity of our Party,” the statement read.
Abronye further proposed that the disciplinary proceedings be conducted openly and broadcast live to the public. He argued that since the referral was made public, it is only fair for the rank and file of the NPP to witness the process first-hand.
“Since the referral was made public, I therefore propose that the sittings of the Committee be conducted openly and broadcast live, so that the rank and file of our noble Party may have the opportunity to witness, at first hand, the manifest antichrist posture and conduct of Hon. Kennedy Agyapong,” he added.
The development comes at a time when tensions are high within the NPP, with internal disciplinary issues drawing public interest ahead of the 2028 general elections. The Committee’s decision on the matter is expected to have significant implications for party unity moving forward.
