Registered Sex Offender Caught Sniffing Woman at Nordstrom Rack in California

A 36-year-old registered sex offender was arrested on July 22, 2025, after allegedly being caught on security cameras sniffing a woman’s behind at a Nordstrom Rack store in California.

Calese Carron Crowder, who is on active parole for previous lewd offenses, was seen acting suspiciously in the women’s section of the Burbank Empire Center location. Security footage reportedly shows Crowder crouching behind female shoppers and sniffing them without their knowledge.

Arrest and Charges

Store staff alerted local police after noticing Crowder lurking and behaving oddly near several customers. Officers responded quickly and located Crowder inside a nearby Walmart, where he was taken into custody without incident.

He now faces charges of intent to commit a crime, with bail set at $100,000. Crowder remains in custody and is awaiting a court appearance later this month.
