Dublin City University (DCU) Business School is offering a fully funded PhD scholarship as part of the Co-Centre for Climate + Biodiversity + Water initiative. This interdisciplinary project focuses on evaluating environmental change risks to the financial and industrial sectors, contributing to transformative solutions for climate, biodiversity, and water challenges.

PhD Project Highlights:

  • Investigate environmental risk awareness and integration within corporate and financial sectors

  • Map cross-jurisdictional biodiversity and climate-related risks, including invasive species

  • Develop tools like industry risk dashboards and supply chain heatmaps

  • Targeted sectors: agrifood, energy, construction, and macrofinancial

Scholarship Package:

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Master’s degree (first or high second-class honours) in business, finance, economics, sustainability, or a related field

  • Strong understanding of business and sustainability

  • Excellent written/oral communication skills

  • Professional experience is a plus
