In a statement dated Monday, September 29, 2025, and signed by Captain Veronica Adzo Arhin, Acting Director General of Public Relations, GAF emphasized that decentralizing the recruitment process will allow qualified applicants from every region to participate without the burden of long-distance travel. “The decision is aimed at ensuring fairness and accessibility in the recruitment process,” the statement noted.
GAF also issued a strong advisory to the public, warning against fake recruitment messages and links circulating on WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, and other social media platforms. These fraudulent schemes often impersonate military officials or promise shortcuts into the service.
The Armed Forces clarified:
No invitations are issued directly by officers or the High Command.
