Six Confirmed Dead During Military Recruitment Exercise
Six persons have been confirmed dead at the El-wak sports stadium during a recruitment exercise by the Ghana Armed forces.

Six persons have been confirmed dead with several others injured at the El-wak sports stadium in Accra following a stampede.
According to a statement by the Ghana Armed forces, the stampede follows an expected surge in numbers as applicants thronged the stadium for screening.
The statement further stated that, huge numbers of recruits breached security protocols which led to the stampede. The dead have been deposited at the 37 Military Hospital.
The injured were also rushed to the Hospital for treatment. This is the first face of the military recruitment exercise as applicants were asked to come for documents verification and body examinations.
