Keyamo Demands Punishment for Leaked Ibom Air Indecent Footage

Nigeria’s Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, has ordered disciplinary action against the individual responsible for leaking a video containing indecent exposure involving staff members of Ibom Air.
The footage, which recently surfaced online, sparked widespread discussions on social media, raising concerns about professionalism and privacy within the aviation sector. Keyamo condemned the unauthorized release, stressing that internal incidents should be handled in line with proper workplace procedures rather than being exposed to the public.
“I have therefore directed that whoever released that part of the video containing the indecent exposure amongst the staff should be singled out and adequately sanctioned,” Keyamo stated.
The minister emphasized that while workplace misconduct must be addressed, publicizing such sensitive material compromises the image of the aviation industry and could have legal consequences.
Keyamo also urged all aviation stakeholders to uphold the highest standards of ethics, discipline, and confidentiality, noting that the Federal Government remains committed to ensuring the Nigerian aviation sector maintains both safety and integrity.
