Pressure Mounts on Ablakwa To Resign Over Use Of Private Jet By Vice President

Some Ghanaians are mounting pressure on North Tongue member of Parliament and Minister of foreign affairs, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa over the use of private jet by vice president Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang.
This is due to comments made by the current minister incharge of foreign affairs in the erstwhile President Akufo-Addo led administration over the use of private jet by the President.
It would be recalled that, during the tenure of President Akufo-Addo, the then ranking member on the foreign affairs committee of Parliament creticised then President fot using private jets for his foreign travels.
Some Ghanaian and especially on social media are of the view that, the foreign affairs minister must resign as he vowed to do so should the president or vice president ever use a private jet if NDC comes to power.
This demands comes few days after the Vice president returned to Ghana from her two months medical leave from the UK via a private jet. For the accusers of Hon. Ablakwa and it is only right for him to resign after accusing President Akufo-Addo of using private jets for his foreign travels and promising to resign if same happened under an NDC administration.
The Minister of foreign affairs is yet to respond to these demands and accusations.
