Tinubu Sympathizes With Ododo Family Over Patriarch’s Demise

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has extended his heartfelt condolences to the Governor of Kogi State, Ahmed Usman Ododo, on the passing of his father, Alhaji Momohsani Ododo, who died on Monday, August 18, 2025.
In a statement released by the Presidency, Tinubu described the late Alhaji Momohsani Ododo as a man of integrity, wisdom, and humility, whose contributions to his community left a lasting legacy.
The President urged Governor Ododo and his family to take solace in the impactful life their patriarch lived, while praying for the repose of his soul. He also encouraged the people of Kogi State to rally around their governor during this period of mourning.
The burial of the late elder statesman was conducted according to Islamic rites in Okene, Kogi State, and attended by family members, political leaders, and well-wishers.
