Asiedu Nketiah Sworn in as GPHA Board Chairman

The National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, has been formally sworn in as the Board Chairman of the Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority (GPHA). The swearing-in ceremony took place on Wednesday, 25th June 2025, and also marked the induction of Prof Ransford Gyampo, acting Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Shippers Authority, as a member of the newly reconstituted GPHA Board.

The National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, has been officially sworn in as the Board Chairman of the Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority (GPHA).

The ceremony took place on Wednesday, 25th June 2025, and forms part of efforts to strengthen leadership within the Authority. The event also saw the induction of Prof. Ransford Gyampo, the acting Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Shippers Authority, as a member of the newly reconstituted GPHA Board.

Their appointments signal a renewed commitment to enhancing port operations and ensuring effective governance at Ghana’s key maritime institutions.
