Ken Ofori-Atta Added to INTERPOL Red Notice List After OSP Declaration
Interpol has added Ghana's former Minister of Finance, Ken Ofori Atta to its red notice list.

The International Police Organization (INTERPOL) has now added Ghana's former Minister of Finance Ken Ofori Atta to its lists of red notice.
Checks on the website of INTERPOL website indicated that, Ken Ofori Atta's name has been listed as persons wanted by the organisation.
Details of the red notice further indicate that, the reason why he is wanted is because, he used public office for personal gains.
Other details includes, his age, his height and complexion among other descriptions.
This comes days after the office of special prosecuter (OSP) declared him wanted and a fugitive of justice and the red alert via interpol was activated.
According to the OSP, this has become necessary following the inability of Ken Ofori Atta to honour it's invitation for questioning despite giving him sufficient time to do so.
Lawyers of Ken Ofori Atta however maintained that, his inability to come to the Ghana is due to medical reasons as he was diagnosed with cancer and scheduled for another surgery.
