Lil Wayne Drops ‘Tha Carter VI’ Album and Confirms 2025 North American Tour
Lil Wayne releases Tha Carter VI with features from Bono, Andrea Bocelli, MGK, and more. Plus, he’s hitting the road with Tyga and Belly Gang Kushington on a major U.S. tour.

Multiple GRAMMY Award-winning, multi-platinum rapper and record label executive Lil Wayne has officially dropped his highly anticipated 14th studio album, Tha Carter VI, under Young Money Entertainment/Republic Records.
The 19-track masterpiece features an all-star production lineup including Lin-Manuel Miranda, Wyclef Jean, and Lil Wayne himself, with powerhouse collaborations from Bono, Andrea Bocelli, Jelly Roll, Big Sean, 2 Chainz, MGK, Kodak Black, and Wayne’s sons Kameron Carter and Lil Novi.
“Real art can’t be rushed — and y’all know I ain’t never been on nobody’s clock but mine," Wayne shared. "To the fans who’ve been waiting, I love you. This album is for the ones who’ve been riding with me through all Tha Carters. Tunechi back. C6 is here.”
Fans first got a taste of Tha Carter VI during Game 2 of the 2025 NBA Finals, where the track “The Days” featuring Bono premiered during a promotional spot. The campaign will continue throughout the NBA Finals series.
To mark the album’s debut, Wayne headlined a sold-out show at Madison Square Garden on June 6, delivering an electrifying live preview of the new music.
But that’s not all — Lil Wayne has also revealed dates for the ‘Tha Carter VI’ North American tour, kicking off in New York and continuing through major U.S. and Canadian cities. The tour will feature special guests Tyga, Belly Gang Kushington, and NoCap on select dates.
