Nigerian Troops Neutralize Boko Haram Terrorists in Borno State Clearance Operation

On July 7, 2025, soldiers from the 7 Division, Sector 1, Operation Hadin Kai, executed a successful clearance mission targeting Boko Haram (JAS) hideouts in Tangalanga and Bula Marwa, Borno State.
Acting on reliable intelligence about terrorist activities in the region, the troops moved into Tangalanga, where they encountered and eliminated two insurgents.
Following further intelligence about a terrorist gathering in Bula Marwa, the forces advanced to the location. Upon their arrival, the insurgents scattered in multiple directions. The troops pursued and neutralized one fleeing terrorist, while also dismantling several key structures within the camp.
No losses were reported among the troops during the operation.
Items recovered included six AK-47 magazines, 90 rounds of 7.62mm special ammunition, and a Boko Haram flag.
