A Nigerian man, Sabatu Andrew, expressed grief over the death of his uncle, Ishaku Ahmadu, who was killed by kidnappers despite a ransom being paid.
In a heartfelt Facebook post on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, Andrew wrote,
“Rest in peace, uncle. So heartbreaking. They took the ransom and still killed him.”
Reports indicate that Ahmadu was kidnapped in Kebbi State.
