NPF Extends Tinted Glass Permit Enforcement Deadline to October 2, 2025
The Tinted Glass Permit requirement, moving the deadline from its earlier schedule to October 2, 2025.
According to Inspector General of Police, Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, the extension comes in response to a surge in permit applications through the official portal, https://possap.gov.ng. This extra time will allow for thorough screening to ensure only eligible applicants receive permits, in line with national security objectives.
The Force says the grace period will also help refine both digital and physical verification systems to prevent fraud and unauthorized issuance. Nigerians are urged to report any extortion, hidden fees, or unofficial processing to the police hotline 0814 781 8871.
The NPF reiterated its commitment to balancing public convenience with strong security measures for the safety of all citizens.
