GAF Z9 Helicopter crash: Murtala, Muniru interred
They were interred in accordance to Islamic laws.
Two of the victims of the August 6 Helicopter crash, Alhaji Muniru Mohammed Limuna, the Acting Deputy National Security Coordinator, and Alhaji Dr. Ibrahim Murtala Muhammed, Minister for Environment Science and Technology, have been interred in solemn ceremonies graced by political leaders, family members, and dozens of sympathisers.
The burial occurred in accordance with Islamic rites on Sunday, August 10, following the tragic helicopter crash in Adansi Akrofuom in the Ashanti Region, hat claimed their lives along with six other government officials.
The service witnessed a cross-section of dignitaries, including government officials, Members of Parliament, party representatives, religious leaders, and residents who came together to pay their last respects.
