Gold Fields Trains 264 Youth: Dr. Catherine Kuupol-Kuutor Leads $4M Skills Initiative
Under the leadership of Dr. Catherine Kuupol-Kuutor, Gold Fields Ghana Foundation has trained 264 youth through a $4M investment in technical and vocational skills.

The Gold Fields Ghana Foundation, under the leadership of Dr. Catherine Kuupol-Kuutor, General Manager of Gold Fields Tarkwa and Damang Mines, has reinforced its commitment to youth development and community empowerment through a $4 million technical skills programme.
A total of 264 young people have so far benefited from the initiative, including 29 newly trained youth, as part of efforts to equip the next generation with relevant and employable skills for sustainable livelihoods.

- Heavy-Duty Equipment Operation
- Community Apprenticeship in Domestic & Industrial Wiring
- Precision Welding
- Auto Mechanics, Welding, Dressmaking & Auto Electricals
Leadership That Drives Change
Dr. Kuupol-Kuutor, a champion of sustainable community impact, emphasized the importance of vocational education in lifting families out of poverty and reducing youth unemployment.
