The 55-year-old hip-hop mogul, who first achieved billionaire status in 2019, has more than doubled his fortune in just six years. His wealth extends far beyond his music career, with significant stakes in companies such as Uber, an extensive fine art collection, and ownership of one of the most valuable music catalogues in the industry.

Rihanna, whose Fenty Beauty brand revolutionised the cosmetics industry, takes third place with a net worth of $1 billion, making her the richest female musician.
Jay-Z’s marriage to fellow superstar Beyoncé only amplifies his influence. Together, they are estimated to be worth $3.5 billion, and they share a remarkable 88 Grammy nominations each – the most in history. Jay-Z himself has won 25 Grammy Awards, three Emmys, and was hailed by Billboard and Vibe in 2023 as the greatest rapper of all time.
