The Paramount Chief of the Ofuman Traditional Area in the Techiman North District of the Bono East Region, Nana Kwaku Gyan Abrokuo II, has made a passionate appeal to both local and foreign investors to consider investing in the community to help create jobs for the youth.

In an interview with Asona Dehyiɛ Kwateng, Nana Abrokuo II also called on the Inspector General of Police (IGP) to deploy more police personnel to the area, stressing that improved security is critical to attracting investment and curbing crime.

According to the Paramount Chief, Ofuman’s strategic location and vast lands make it a prime destination for industries, businesses, and agricultural ventures. He urged the media to support the town by promoting its potential, especially in line with former President John Dramani Mahama’s 24-hour Economy initiative, which seeks to maximize productivity and job opportunities across the country.

We are ready to offer investors any assistance they need to ensure a win-win situation for both sides, securing a better future for our present and future generations,” he stated.

Nana Abrokuo II also appealed to traditional leaders, families, and landowners to release lands for investment projects, emphasizing that sustainable development and youth empowerment are tied to making such resources available.

The Paramount Chief’s call underscores the community’s readiness to welcome development initiatives that can transform Ofuman into a hub of economic growth and opportunity in the Bono East Region.
