YEA Opens 2025 Recruitment for Community Police and Fire Assistants in Ghana

The Youth Employment Agency (YEA), in collaboration with the Ghana Police Service and the Ghana National Fire Service, has opened applications for its 2025 recruitment of Community Police Assistants and Fire Assistants. The nationwide recruitment drive begins on Thursday, June 5, 2025, and will end on Thursday, June 26, 2025.

Interested applicants must submit their forms online at the official YEA portal: apply.yea.gov.gh. All applications are free, and YEA warns the public to beware of fraudsters posing as agents or middlemen.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Must be a Ghanaian citizen

• Hold a valid Ghana Card

• Aged between 18 and 35 years

Terms of Engagement:

• Selected applicants will be engaged as beneficiaries under YEA programs

• Each engagement contract will last two (2) years

Applicants are advised to visit YEA district offices nationwide for assistance with the online application process, especially if they lack internet access or need support with document preparation.

Public Alert:

“Application is completely free. No one should pay money to any individual or agency. All interested applicants must apply directly on the official portal,” the YEA statement emphasized.

This initiative forms part of YEA’s commitment to reducing unemployment by providing youth-focused job opportunities while supporting national security and emergency services through the Ghana Police and Fire Services.
