The Commonwealth Foundation has announced the appointment of its Civil Society Advisory Governors for the 2025–2027 term. These five distinguished leaders—representing Africa, Asia, the Caribbean and the Americas, Europe, and the Pacific—will serve as key strategic advisors, helping to shape the Foundation’s work and amplify the voices of civil society across the Commonwealth.
The Governors will participate in Board of Governors meetings, nominate two representatives to the Executive Committee, and contribute to the planning of the 2026 Commonwealth People’s Forum in Antigua and Barbuda.
Meet the 2025–2027 Civil Society Advisory Governors:
-
Dr. Stellah Bosire (Africa): A physician, lawyer, and human rights advocate with extensive experience in health equity, gender justice, and climate action.
-
Jacqueline Wong (Asia): A prominent leader in health policy and social equity, particularly focused on non-communicable diseases and aging populations.
-
