Former Buffer Stock CEO Picked Up By EOCO

The former Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Ghana Buffer Stock Company, Alhaji Abdul Hanan Aludiba has been picked up by officials from the Economic and organized crime Office (EOCO).

Officials from the Economic and Organized Crime Office (EOCO) have reportedly picked up the former Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Buffer Stock Company, Alhaji Abdul Hanan Aludiba for questioning. 

According to reports, the former Buffer stock company CEO has been picked up for questioning over some procurement breaches during his tenure as CEO of the buffer stock company. 

The operation by EOCO which was conducted silmoustaneusly in Accra and Tamale resulted in his arrest and one other official for interrogation by EOCO investigators. 

The Ghana Buffer Stock Company was incharge of food supply to Senior High Schools in the Country and also incharge of food storage of food stuffs in various government ware houses in the Country. 

The former CEO of the buffer stock company was also the Parliamentary candidate for the ruling New Patriotic Party for Pusiga in the 2024 Parliamentary elections. 

EOCO is yet to release an official statement on the matter and we await official communication from the office.
