Ghana Police, GRA Arrest 10 Foreign Nationals in Cybercrime Operation at Weija
Ten Chinese and Malaysian nationals have been arrested in a cybercrime operation in Weija by the Ghana Police and GRA. Over 800 phones and computers seized.

In a joint intelligence-led operation, the Cybercrime Unit of the Ghana Police Service, in collaboration with the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA), has arrested ten foreign nationals suspected of engaging in cybercrime activities.
The operation, conducted at Weija in the Greater Accra Region, led to the arrest of individuals identified as Chinese and Malaysian nationals. All suspects are currently in police custody, assisting with ongoing investigations.
A significant cache of items believed to be used in the commission of cyber-related crimes was retrieved at the scene. These include:

The seized items have been retained for forensic analysis to support the investigation and build a case for potential prosecution.
Police sources indicate that this latest bust forms part of a broader strategy to clamp down on cybercrime syndicates, especially those involving foreign operatives using Ghana as a base of operations.
