MP HON. BOAM HOSTS JOYOUS CELEBRATION, AWARDS 7 EDUCATION WORKERS WITH EXCITING PRIZES
Pru East Constituency was filled with joy and excitement as Member of Parliament Hon. Emmanuel Kwaku Boam celebrated outstanding teachers in the Pru East District. The MP honored seven dedicated educators with impressive gifts, showcasing his appreciation for their tireless efforts. The first ever celebration in the history of the District.
The ceremony took place at Yeji AstroTurf, with teachers, students, and community leaders in attendance, the District Education Director, Mr. Sylvester Tabiasi-Naa and his staff. Pru East DCE, Hon. Abdul Nassir Dauda and his entourage.
The program saw the attendance of Nana Siahene Mpre Kukuji, Gyeasehene of Yeji Traditional Area as the chairperson with his other chiefs and queenmothers.
Also in attendance is the Bono East Regional Education Director, Nana Kugbeadzor-Bakateyi(ii) who represented the Deputy Educational Minister and the Bono East Regional Minister respectively.
The Prizes Hon. Boam presented are:
1. One brand-new motorbike
2. One modern fridge
3. Four smart TV set
4. Two bicycles
The lucky recipients were:

2. Madam Hidaya Zakari(Nurul Islam Primary School)
3. Mr. Charles Ampong(Yeji Presby Primary School)
4. Mr. Tsamenyi Wisdom (AccraTown D/A Primary School)
5. Madam Kpodo Rita (Sawaaba D/A JHS)
6. Mr. Yussif Gyempeh ( Pru East District Education Office )
7. Mr. Kamal Mohammed (Pru East District Education Office)
During Hon. Boam's address at the program, he expressed that he has made a solemn pledged to improved on education. Hon. Boam said he has set up a Scholarship policy for both teachers and students which has already saw 20 individuals including teachers who are furthering their education.
He also emphasized on the need to improve educational infrastructure in the District. He shows a commitment to do all best on the improvement and specified some communities that needs urgent attention.
The awardees were overwhelmed with gratitude, expressing appreciations to Hon. Boam for the recognition and also proclaimed the interventions of the MP in the Education. "This gesture motivates us to do more," said Mr Mohammed Sima, one of the recipients.
Hon. Boam emphasized the importance of teachers in shaping future leaders, assuring them of continued support. The event ended with a call for more community involvement in education.
