Nana Kwabena Opoku i Enstooled Nkosuohene of Wassa Dikoto

A son of Nana Akwasi, the Gyaasehene of Wassa Dikoto has been enstooled development chief of Wassa Dikoto in the Western region.

The enstoolment took place at the palace of the chief of Wassa Dikoto, Nana Ntiako Agyiri. 

Known in private life as Papa Jay aka JJ, the miner seeks to lead the developmental transformation of Wassa Dikoto in the shortest possible time.

The colourful ceremony was attended by the Chief of Wassa Dikoto traditional area (Nana Ntiako Agyiri),

Gyantuahene of the Wassa Saamang, political leaders, other stakeholders and the Okyeame panin Adu Kwaw of Wassa Saamang traditional area, political leaders including some friends and well wishers.

Nana Kwabena Opoku i, an indigene of the area merited the criteria by the traditional leaders hence his enstoolment.

The traditional elders said his virtues, business backgrounds and achievements in life as an achiever influenced their decision to make him the Nkosuohene (Development Chief).

The town, though one of the fast developing areas in Wassa Amenfi East need a person who will facilitate development and help fix the infrastructure deficits in the area.

Nevertheless, the new Nkosouhene, Nana Kwabena Opoku, vowed to help develop the community with his skills and effort.
