The Chief of Wassa Mangoase, Nana Kwasi Allou, has appealed to the government, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Wassa Amenfi East, Hon. Raymond Nan Ebbah, and the Member of Parliament (MP), Hon. Nicholas Amankwah, to come to the aid of his community by addressing pressing developmental needs.

Nana Allou highlighted the urgent challenges facing his people, which include a lack of potable water, poor road networks, an unreliable electricity supply, limited network connectivity, and the absence of critical social infrastructure such as a functioning school and a CHPS compound.

"Our children walk long distances to school, our women suffer during childbirth due to the absence of a health facility, and the bad roads make it difficult to transport farm produce to market,” Nana stated.

He emphasised that access to basic social amenities is not a privilege but a right and called on the government, MCE and MP to prioritise the needs of Mangoes in their development agenda.

However, residents expressed bitterness over the lack of provision of potable water, electricity, and reliable network connectivity. would greatly improve their standard of living; they stated
