Nigeria's Hilda Baci re-enters GWR with the largest jollof rice cooking dish

Famous Nigerian entrepreneur and chef Hilda Baci has formally set a new Guinness World Record for the largest serving of Nigerian-style jollof rice, alongside food packaging brand Gino.
According to Guinness World Records, the impressive record was attained with a total serving of 8,780 kilograms (19,356 lb 9 oz) of jollof rice.
The record-breaking dish was cooked in Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria, attracting many from avid foodies and supporters across that country.
The occasion not only celebrated Nigeria’s iconic dish but also underscored Hilda Baci’s lingered influence in the culinary world.
It marks yet another achievement for Baci, who previously made headlines with her Guinness World Record attempt for the longest cooking marathon.
The feat depicts the international appeal of Nigerian cuisine, particularly the beloved jollof rice, which remains a cultural staple and source of national pride.
