Report: 657 Dead in Iran After Week of Israeli Strikes
A deadly Israeli bombing campaign in Iran has claimed over 650 lives, with thousands more injured. The Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA) reports widespread damage to civilian areas, including strikes on hospitals and factories. Israel’s stated goal is halting Iran’s nuclear weapons program.

Over 650 people have lost their lives in Iran after a large Israeli bombing campaign started a week ago, according to an activist group.
The Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), based in the U.S., reports that 657 people have died and 2,037 have been hurt across the country. Iran's government does not release daily reports on casualties.
HRANA depends on a wide network of sources and public information to gather its data. The group says at least 263 civilians and 164 soldiers are among the dead. There are also 230 deaths that are still unidentified.
The report highlights damage to civilian areas, including a strike on a children’s hospital in Tehran that caused no injuries. In Ilam, a province in the west, a fire station was hit, and a car factory was set on fire after an Israeli attack.
Israel says its goal is to stop Iran from developing nuclear weapons, which they see as a threat to their survival.
