Tragedy as 51 Year Old Teacher Found Dead Inside Tricycle in Aba
A 51-year-old teacher, Mrs. Emmanuel Love Onuora, was discovered dead inside a commercial tricycle in Aba, Abia State, on Tuesday, July 29.
Mrs. Onuora, a well-known educator at a private school in the city, had boarded the tricycle for a routine journey along Aba Road. The tricycle was operated by one Mr. Okechukwu Sunday, a resident of Aba originally from Anambra State.
During the trip, another passenger was picked up. It was this passenger who noticed that Mrs. Onuora appeared unresponsive. Multiple attempts to revive her failed.
The tricycle operator promptly alerted officers at the Area Command in Aba, who quickly conveyed the unconscious woman to St. Francis Hospital. Unfortunately, medical personnel confirmed her dead on arrival.
Her remains have since been deposited at the mortuary. Meanwhile, the police have launched an investigation to determine the cause of death and the circumstances surrounding the incident.
