NAF Eliminates 592 Terrorists, Destroys 372 Assets in Eight Months of Operation Hadin Kai
The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has announced that it conducted over 1,500 operational flight hours under the Air Component of Operation Hadin Kai in the past eight months, neutralising at least 592 terrorists and destroying 372 enemy assets in the North-East.
According to NAF spokesperson Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, the figures were revealed by the Chief of Air Staff (CAS), Air Marshal Hasan Abubakar, during a courtesy visit to Borno State Governor, Prof. Babagana Zulum, in Maiduguri on Tuesday.
Abubakar described the campaign as an “unyielding air onslaught” that has already surpassed the operational tempo of the entire 2024. He credited the gains to an upgraded fleet, enhanced precision night-strike capabilities, and sustained combat operations.
